Client Services & Bookkeeping Associate

Loon Creek Capital is seeking a Client Services & Bookkeeping Associate to join our growing team. Our firm provides consulting services and administrative support to angel investor and venture capital groups across the country. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent customer service skills and a passion for detail to coordinate our books and record-keeping operations. This is an entry level position with unlimited opportunities for growth and expansion for the right individual.

Variable and flexible hours, approximately 20-40 hrs/week.

Position is 90% remote and working hours are very flexible.
Perfect for a student, retiree or at-home parent. We will train the right candidate!

Compensation: $17-$22/hour depending on experience and aptitude.

Responsibilities

 

  • Represent Loon Creek professionally, efficiently and courteously with our clients

  • Client Accounting: set up general ledgers, reconciliations, financial statements, coordinate annual tax returns with multiple accounting firms

  • Bookkeeping: coordinate capital calls, maintain investor records, renew entity filings, coordinate investor voting, ensure correct billing

  • Assist Client Services Coordinator on client service delivery

  • Assist Operations Director with systems and operations projects/tasks

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of process and service offerings

  • Create and maintain documentation

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Systems/Experience Needed:

  • Google apps (Gdrive, Gmail, calendar, etc.)

  • MS Office (Word, Excel)

 

Additional Experience Helpful:

  • Customer service

  • Accounting, bookkeeping 

  • Accounting software, Quickbooks desktop preferred

  • Database and/or CRM, Zoho preferred

  • Familiarity with finance and investment concepts

  • Project Management

  • Time management and organization in order to meet deadlines

  • Ability to contribute to and/or manage multiple projects simultaneously
