Will spent the first ten years of his career as a professional actor. Since shifting focus to the startup economy, he’s gained both operational and leadership experience working inside startups. His roles have included Business Development, Product Management, and most recently, Chief Operating Officer of an e-commerce startup, where he helped the company increase revenue by $1M in less than 6 months.
Will has spent the last six years working with Boise Angel Alliance and Loon Creek Capital Group, serving as everything from an intern to Chair of the Screening Committee for the funds. He has also served as an Angel Capital Association (ACA) pitch coach for the National Conference, and currently serves on the ACA membership development committee.
Locally, Will stays engaged in his community currently serving on the selection committee for the Idaho Innovation Awards, the planning committee for the Idaho Capital Connect Conference and Deal Flow report, as well as on Board of Directors for the Boise Contemporary Theatre. Kevin has been an active angel investor and is past President of the Boise Angel Alliance and an investor in all 4 of its funds. He was Vice President of RAIN Source Capital in Minneapolis where he was responsible for twenty plus angel funds. He was co-founder and CEO of Learned-Mahn, a software company that scaled nationally and had a successful exit. He worked as a consultant for the Idaho Small Business Development Center for 6 years and has counseled many high potential, early stage companies regarding their business and equity capital strategies.
Kevin is also the co-founder and director of Venture College at Boise State University. Venture College is a unique program which works with student-entrepreneurs to help them launch their businesses while pursuing their education.
Kevin has an extensive list of civic leadership positions including Past District Governor for Rotary International. He holds degrees from Yale (BA), Wharton (MBA) and Texas Tech (Ph.D).

Denise serves as Managing Partner for Loon Creek Capital Group. Her work history includes a range of technical and managerial roles in a variety of industries. She worked her way through college as the Office Manager for a restaurant company. She subsequently held positions as a Data Analyst for Blue Cross of Idaho, as Advancement Operations Director and then Annual Giving Director for College of Idaho. She joined The Network Group, a technology services company, in 2004 as a Project Manager/Business Systems Analyst and went on to become the CEO, successfully negotiating its sale in 2008. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director for the Idaho Small Business Development Center’s TECenter accelerator, where she grew that program by 150% in under three years.
Denise is actively involved in several civic and non-profit organizations in Boise. She is a member of the Boise Angel Alliance and an investor in 3 of its affiliated funds. She graduated from Boise State University in 1998 with a BBA in Entrepreneurship and has been a proud Bronco and loyal fan of the football team long before they were any good.
